INFORMATION FOR AFFILIATES

I:       SUBSCRIPTION

Sunbscription to programming produced by CCMCommunications, including "The Word: Alive and Well", "Liturgy of the Word", and Specials (hereafter refered to as the Show) is available to our subscriber networks (hereafter refered to as Affiliates) is offered at no cost to the affiliate, the sposor, or the audience.

II:      SUBSCRIPTION, TAPES, and MAILING FREQUENCY

Mailing are sent on a monthly basis, unless the Affiliate wishes to have tapes sent on a less frequent basis. This mailing includes the number of tapes specified by the network, on the format indicated. The tape format is initially indicated by filling out the AFFILIATE INFORMATION FORM, which is kept on record at the CCMCommunications TOC.

Tapes received by the network can be any of the following formats:       -DVCPro 25        -3/4" U-Matic        -S-VHS (Y/C 1/2")        -VHS (1/2")        -DVD-R All tapes are recorded in SP format.

Videotapes/Disc formats are subject to change by either CCMCommunications or the subscriber network. Should the affiliate wish a format change, because of a format upgrade or the discontinuing of a specific tape format, just call our syndication staff and have your information on file upgraded.

CCMCommunications distributes our tapes free of chanrge. We do ask that, as we do not have a in-exhaustable tape invetory, that the network return the shows sent to them following thir monthly airing cycle for re-distribution. The network receiving the show can either opt for a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope being sent out with the mailing, allowing for pre-paid returns, or return the tape by their own method.

Networks that do not send tapes back after they have had them in their custody for over 6 months will receive a letter reminding them to return them. As we do do periodic inventory and library verifications against out syndication log, we do track tapes not returned.

Though we never wish to loose affiliates or subscribers at any time, should a network be delinquent in returning tapes that network will be dropped. Tapes cost money - in the digital world, perhaps over $20.00 each. Delinquency in sending back tapes can result in CCMCommunications' loss of hundreds of dollars, collectivley, in property.

ii.

Should an out-of-state network be receiving VHS video tapes for broadcast, that network is not required to send that tape back. It costs more to send the tape back then it does to actually buy the tape, so in those cases the affiliate will not be provided with a SASE.

iii.

III:      SERVING OUR AFFILIATE

We will conduct periodic surveys throughout the year asking you how we are doing, and if we are going that job of providing you with programming well. We ask that you respond to us, so we can make your life easier in supplying you with our show. If at any time you have a question, coment, or even complaint about the programming or service we are providing, call us ... our staff is listed here.
